Product description

Bänfer "Wiemers System" sprung floor: optimal power transmission
The Bänfer "Wiemers System" sprung floor features an innovative design for minimising peaks in power. Its special substructure also offers greater flexibility, which means less strain on the body during jumps and landings. The substructure consists of a double layer of supports. The lower support (lower element), to which the springs are attached, is connected to the upper support (cover panel) by a particularly light special foam layer. By removing the two support layers from each other, the substructure obtains a significantly higher bending rigidity (principle of the double T-support), which means better transmission of energy through the springs to the gymnasts. At the same time, the force acting on the athlete during take-off and landing is significantly reduced due to the lower weight between the support layers.
