The Sport-Thieme centre mat for parallel bars features a 60-mm-thick composite foam core and a cover made of non-slip gym mat material. The sections covering the frame are approximately 5 mm thick. The mats can be folded and easily fit in the area between the bars, providing optimal protection for the gymnasts while they're using the apparatus.

Good to know
Fold in the two outer sections of the mat, if you want to move the bars. This will make transportation easier and will spare you from having to remove the mat.
Safety first
The centre mat for parallel bars fully covers the floor, including the frame. The sections that cover the frame are about 5 mm thick. For your safety, we recommend ordering the centre mat at the same time you purchase a set of parallel bars. (The parallel bars must be ordered separately.)
