The athlete has to "drive" the Rodeosell keeping their balance – they can only go quicker by shifting their weight. Children can experiment with the equipment to find the limits of their balance. The Rodeosell’s tilt enables exercises that aren't possible on a conventional balance disc. When used upside down, the Rodeosell must be actively spun to get it going, it will then keep on turning on its own for a while.
