The Posturomed® 202 is a neuro-orthopaedic device with an attenuated oscillating unstable surface. This versatile piece of therapy equipment can be used for diagnosing neuro-orthopaedic conditions as well as for therapy and prevention. The surface is attached to special swinging elements that allow oscillating swaying movements. The frequency and amplitude of the oscillations can be set by the therapist. The quadrant grid with centering found on the surface guides the user during training. This marking always allows standardised tests such as the PosturoCyberneticsTest (PCT) to be carried out safely. Using a manual intervention feature, the therapist can stop the surface at any time or deflect the surface to train reactions.
