Football kid goals: which one is the best?
Football goals are fundamental to every football game. Different sized goals are used depending on the type of game being played. Goals for senior competitions have a standardised size according to DFB and FIFA regulations. The inner dimension between the two posts is exactly 7.32 metres and from ground to crossbar 2.44 metres. Youth football goals are smaller and have an inner dimension of 5 x 2 metres. Football goals in this size are also used for indoor football. Smaller portable mini goals are suitable when buying a football goal for recreational or youth facilities. They can be used for different sport activities and are therefore particularly versatile.
Mounting football goals safely
Football goals have to be stable and secure against tipping over. Fully welded constructions are particularly robust. For example, ground sockets, in which the poles are anchored, or soil pegs, ensure that it stands safely. When there is no possibility for mechanical anchoring – for example on artificial grass pitches – football goals are secured against tipping by weights. Vandal-protected, fully welded aluminium football goals are suitable for recreational grounds.
