The combination of two types of buoyancy is a unique feature of the SwimSafe armbands: the unbreakable PE foam core provides basic buoyancy and the air chamber increases the buoyancy to the level required by the individual. Of course, the air chambers also feature safety valves that can't easily be opened by children on their own. The plastic is particularly tear-resistant. The unbreakable foam core is an additional safety feature: should the air chamber be damaged, it will provide enough buoyancy for the child to get to the edge of the pool. The Flipper Swimsafe armbands are suitable for arm circumferences of at least 13.5 cm and/or swimmers aged 12 months to 6 years.
