Get fit with 3 pieces of equipment
The aqua jogging belt provides you with the buoyancy in the water needed for aqua fitness. Doing the exercises under water is gentle on joints and relieves the pressure on the spine and musculoskeletal system. The leg floats can be used both on their own and to complement the aqua jogging belt. They have an effect on the body’s centre of gravity and therefore on balance in the water. The buoyancy forces the upper body to maintain your balance, which engages all of the trunk muscles. By moving your legs against the water resistance, you strengthen your legs and buttocks. Whether on their own or in conjunction with the two other pieces of equipment, the aqua jogging dumbbells round off your fitness training in the water. In contrast to conventional dumbbell training, training with aqua dumbbells does not involve acting against the weight of the dumbbells, but rather water resistance. Here the high buoyancy of the dumbbells is used as an opposing force, whereby the dumbbells are moved through the water and kept below the surface of the water.
Use of aqua fitness equipment in chlorine and saltwater swimming pools
Aqua fitness equipment made from foam is generally regarded as suitable for use in chlorine and saltwater swimming pools by the manufacturer. However, we recommend thoroughly rinsing the equipment off and/or out after each use in saltwater or chlorine water using clean water. This improves the durability of the equipment and extends its useful life.
