A special mat that is specifically designed to meet the needs of bouldering. Bouldering features highly in the list of accidents while partaking in climbing. In a lot of cases, this is because of insufficient ground protection. Up until now it was normal, particularly when bouldering indoors, to use soft mats. As the person falling sinks deep into the mat, despite everything there can be injuries. This specially developed mat steps up to the breach. The structure is specially selected for purpose. Thanks to the specially designed structure of the mat, it holds the appropriate shape on the surface despite its high shock absorbing abilities. This prevents the user sinking deep into the mat at one point. A newly developed system ensures a safe landing. The edges and the layers are connected using hook-and-loop bands, meaning that no dangerous joints open up. Even the core is made up of a newly developed foam (16 cm PU soft foam, coated in 4 cm PE Neopolen® foam), making landing much safer. The cover is made from tear resistant, non-slip 100% polyester gymnastics mat material in blue, green, red and yellow. The underside is generally non-slip gymnastics mat material. An important point is that at each point of contact on the mat the same characteristics will prevail, even in places where there are overlaps. LxWxH: 300x200x20 cm.
